West of Melbourne the Twelve Apostles are situated on the shipwreck coast found along the Great Ocean Road in Southern Victoria.    One of the front pillars of the Twelve Apostles formation collapsed just after we had taken a Dutch visitor to see it.  Was it because I took this photo?  

Situated East of Melbourne in Westernport Bay, a convenient two hours drive, is  Phillip Island.

Our regular destination is Shoreham Foreshore Reserve.  Shhhh! It is a secret.  One hour from our home we find koalas, echidnas, and deserted beaches.  Our haven.  Watch the seagulls feeding.
